Assignment :1. Pass / Fail Set-up
|
1. Pass /Fail Classroom SetUp AssignmentThis assignment was born out of absolute desperation to convey to the Child Development students how important it was for them to establish the learning environment. I was speaking to our Horticulture teacher after school she adquated my situation to “The Bride’s Bouquet”. She said you only get one chance to make it perfect. So was born the Pass / Fail Classroom SetUp Assignment. The room is broken down into sections, each student chooses their area. As they begin they record the areas current condition, read their text books for ideas, surf web images and Pinterest for ideas and come up with a plan.
Once the plan is approved , students work to ready the room before the Opening House. Some projects are large and the work may need to continue until after the preschool is opened but work is managed and required to be done by the end of the first term. Last Fall two students work together to create POP'S PIZZA SHOP, of course they Passes!
2. Create a Theme Web & Lesson IdeasA. Brainstorm as many concepts and learning ideas you can about the theme you have chosen.
